Wow! I guess one can see how stupid this whole system is! I had that happen to me just last week- I got some warning that a remote system is trying to access my computer. I called up customer service at Norton Security (which costs $.59 a minute) and they gave me a fake phone number to call- when I heard this post I started cracking up as I relived the "nightmare"- thanks!

i heard this before as well. what a real pain! AOl has such a reputation about this it shyed me away from signing up with them.
